How Reply Detection Works (“Do not send if other messages in the last…”)

LinkedSavvy can halt automated messaging if it detects recent replies, ensuring messages remain contextually appropriate. This setting checks for any interaction within a specified timeframe and pauses task execution if necessary.

If the last message found in the conversation box is from your account and it was sent by LinkedSavvy, and it was sent from the same campaign, then it will not be detected as a reply even if that message falls within given reply detection time period, meaning that if there are messages sent by your account but from another campaign, they will be counted as reply detection.

Here are the cases when LinkedSavvy will detect messages as reply:

1) The last message in the conversation box is from the other person and it’s within the timeframe assigned in the task settings.

2) The last message is from your account and was sent manually, and it’s within the timeframe assigned in the task settings.

3) The last message is from your account and was sent from another campaign or from a system task (such as Happy Birthday, Work Anniversary, New Job msg, etc.) and it’s within the timeframe assigned in the task settings.

This setting is exclusive for message tasks such as Send Welcome DM, Send DM or InMail, Message Group Members, and the tasks under the Auto-Engage section
